“It has everything a traveler may need.” - Best place in the mountains! We spent four nights in a two bedroom suite as a snow skiing vacation. The place has everything a traveler may need. Fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, utensils and such. Coffee, popcorn, cereal etc. We needed to adjust skies and found tools to use in the lobby. There are books, board games, and DVDs in a hall to borrow. Washer came with a detergent. The place very close to Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Hawks Next and Appalachian mountains. Will be happy to come back!
Stayed December 2014, traveled with family

“Quaint, charming, clean, convenient.” - If you can please the woman in your party, you have succeeded! Nicely equipped kitchen. Thoughtful to put a half gallon of milk in the fridge. Nice touch to have a full size decorated Christmas tree in the room. Soup, popcorn, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, muffins and movies available. Very homey. Quiet. Comfortable. Nice gas fireplace and big jacuzzi tub. Very clean. We would definitely stay here again. You could walk to the downtown area.

“This is precisely what it claims to be!” - A perfect, quiet spot in the middle of Banner Elk. Not a normal hotel, but more like your own personal condo. Management run this place very efficiently and are not at all intrusive, in fact you can almost go through your entire stay without meeting them! Yet, they will bend over backwards to accommodate your reasonable needs.

“Perfect for our weeklong stay” - Unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure of meeting the owners of the Little Banner Elk Inn, they were that unobtrusive. The key was left in the room, er suite, for us on arrival. A huge kitchen, living are with TV and fireplace, bedroom and bathroom (with jacuzzi) in "Room" 4. Everything was provided for us, and laundry facilities are also available. Breakfast items are available as well as coffee, tea and other munchies. The price for the week was very reasonable. I would certainly stay there if in the area again.

“Wonderful experience!” - We just got back from a 3 day stay at this wonderful inn. So homey and relaxing. We realized after looking at all the items in the suite that we could have packed our clothes and not needed to bring anything else. It was already there! Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch after our daily trips through the lovely little town. Hosts were always accessible and helpful, but absolutely not intrusive. We would never stay anyplace else when in that area.
